We, from Hotel Cumuruxatiba - Costa das Baleias, wish to receive your with open arms and split things that delight us, e.g. Cumuruxatiba, with the mysteries, its exotism, its natural landscapes! We highly wish that you, who is coming first hand here, also get yourself enchanted, so you will tell your friends and family how happy you were. Yet we think that the Hotel Cumuruxatiba - Costa das Baleias should function as your own home, by the time you are around, and we will do everything to make your staying with us as pleasant as possible and unforgettable. That´s the only way to be sure you will come back again.

However, we would like to stress some points, aiming to give you the full knowledge of the whatabouts of your trip. Consequently, you will never feel trapped by improper or tendentious propaganda .

1) Atmosphere: Cumuruxatiba is a fishermen village. Threfore, its infrastructure is still very simple with bare roads and not pavimented paths. Eventually, this simple atmosphere (though confortable) is not that looked by some visitors, eager to find a "pavimented boulevard with shopping centers". We kindly suggest you to take a brief looking at the pictures and text about the village to be sure you will find exactly what you are looking for.

2) Night life in Cumuruxatiba: We know that the state of Bahia is prodigal and rich in culture and its music style has been highly presented at the national and international scenarios. It is recommendable to remind you that Cumuruxatiba is just a small village and cannot present an "wild night" like the large towns, and therefore is appropriated much more to those ecologic individuous than to the night lovers. However you may participate of the famous "luau" (music meetings down the moon light), close to the beach tents. Of course there are some good night options in the nearby cities and we can arrange for a ride upon request.

3) Whale Watching: You can´t miss this promenade as it became a must for visitors of the Whale Coast, to which Cumuruxatiba is part. The Hotel Cumuruxatiba - Costa das Baleias in association with Aquamar, the local tourism agency pormotes the meeting with the Jubarte Whales from July to november(see details). Meanwhile, our tourist has to bear in mind that for safety reasons, the agency might postpone or cancell the trips, whenever they sense a shipping dificult such as strong winds, rains ans other natural obstacles, as well as lack of people during low season. All precautions are taken to minimize such possibilities but there are circunstances far beyond the control of Hotel Cumuruxatiba - Costa das Baleias, and that should be made aware to our friends and visitors, in order not to raise frustrations or disapointments. The trips are retaken as soon as conditions are restablished. We take the liberty to ask you to contact concierge about status of promenade, prior to your arrival.
